As Wisconsin’s first and only entirely green hospital, this facility has set a new standard for patient care, and care of the environment.

Designed around Aurora’s commitment to emphasize patient choice and comfort, the hospital includes private inpatient rooms, including med/surg, ICU, pediatric, NICU, and LDRP beds as well as complete emergency services and a Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic. The facility embraces technology and uses it to enhance care and improve efficiency, incorporating digital diagnostics and paperless and wireless operations, such as electronic medical records, nurse documentation, and computerized prescription ordering.

The community of Grafton prioritizes sustainable living and quality of life, and this LEED Silver certified hospital situated on a 66-acre site, provides a natural setting for healing. A lush courtyard includes a healing garden surrounded by patient treatment and waiting rooms, a one mile health and wellness walking path, and rolling hills that cascade into a natural conservancy the patient towers overlook. The site contains native and drought resistant species to reduce the need for irrigation and limit the environmental impacts of fertilizers and pesticides.
